HostEasy is platform for event hosts, party planners to find Host-Hands for their events. Host-hands will assist you for the event and help you with tasks that they have been assigned.
After putting a request, Hosts are matched with Host-hands, who will serve as an extra set of helping hands to the Host for their event. Host-Hands are experienced and qualified to undertake tasks related to setup - e.g. setting out tables, chairs, dinner.

HostEasy service can be used of any and every kind of event. We help you with birthdays, get-togethers, charity events, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, retirements, etc.
Charges are based on how many HostHands you request and how many hours the Host Hands are needed. After completing your party request, we will provide with the cost estimate for your event. Upon your acceptance, the booking of Host-Hands will be confirmed.
Yes 48 hrs notice is required for no charge cancellations. Cancellation 24 hrs prior will result in 50% percent cut in booking fee.

Yes, we leave tipping up to the Host. If you feel your HostHand has done an amazing job, please tip them at your discretion.

On average, the entire process takes 3 days, but can take up to a few weeks in rare cases. As soon as you are cleared we will be in touch with you.
Once you've been approved to use the platform, you'll receive an email with next steps. You'll need to set up your Stripe account first, then you can begin as a Host-Hand right away!
You must be 18 years or older to sign up to be a Host-Hand.
Yes. It can take up to 48 hours to receive the background check email prompt. A clear background check is required in order to be accepted to the platform. Background checks are performed by Checkr, a third-party background check provider, who may perform employment, education, criminal record, credit history, motor vehicle, and license record checks. Once Host Easy receives your completed background check from Checkr, we will use the results to make our decision and inform you of this decision via email. Please note that you will need to provide a valid Driver's License, State Issued ID, US Passport, or Permanent Resident Card. Checkr cannot accept any form of ID that is past its expiration date.
